Barclays Bank of Botswana is happy to announce that it is moving it its new Head Office at Prime Plaza in the Central Business District (CBD). The move will take place on Friday 19th September 2014. The bank’s Head Office shall resume business at the new building on Monday 22nd September, 2014.
The new building gives us the opportunity to create an exciting business environment for employees, customers and our many stakeholders in and outside Botswana. It further aligns to our goal of becoming the ‘Go-To Bank’ in the market.
Reinette van der Merwe, BBB MD, said: “I am happy that the new building is situated in a prime business area, providing convenience to our customers and clients. I am also proud that with it the new location offers state-of-the art technology and environmentally friendly solutions that contribute positively to our Sustainability agenda. At the new Head Office, we are driving a paperless environment and have also introduced recycling facilities, to mention a few.”
The new Head Office aligns to Barclays Africa Property Consolidation programme, which is inline with the One Africa strategy to offer easy access to our services and provide consistency in the look and feel as one entity across the continent.
“It is the first of its kind in Africa after Absa twin towers,” she concluded.
